I had looked at so many options for businesses. Then it seemed that the planets just lined up and everything fell into place. At last I had my answer. It sounds really simple, but let me tell you a little of what the journey was about. I have spent 19 years in the real estate field. The last 11 of them I owned my own company. Everything about real estate I loved. That's how I felt  in the beginning, after coming from a job in the federal government in D.C. I had FREEDOM and it looked like real estate was the life I had been searching for. To be able to make my own schedule - exercise when I wanted, see friends when I wanted, take time off when I wanted seemed too good to be true - it was. The catch was that this was the case only when you were new and didn't have a lot of clients. As soon as you got busy your time was NEVER your own. Working 24/7 had a new meaning and it was how I was living my life. Sure the money was good, but if you never had time to enjoy life.  Was it really worth it? One day I was going to calculate my salary - you  know $/hour. I realized it was going to be below $10.00 I stopped and got mad! It really was a turning point. What was I doing with my life? How long was I going to continue the madness? I couldn't think of a point in time that would present me with an option to change what I was doing. Then the worst feeling of all came along..... I felt trapped. The career I loved had let me down. I had no idea of what I wanted to do. I knew it had to meet a lot of requirements. I had to keep making the great money, without all the hours put in. I had to be able to work for myself. I had to love what I did. The job had to help people in some way. I had to have time to live my life. The list was actually longer, but I'm sure you get the idea. I did know some of the things that I didn't want to do. I didn't want to work in sales (wasn't willing to start at the bottom), didn't want to work at a job with lots of travel (I have pets and love spending time with my "other" family too!), and it wasn't going to be Multi Level Marketing (I finally figured out that if you don't get in at the very beginning you aren't ever going to make decent money). Hours and hours I spent on the internet "just looking." I'm a big believer in fate. The saying that "when the student is ready , the teacher will come" is TRUE. When I read about this opportunity I couldn't talk to someone soon enough. It actually met all my requirements! The best part is it "felt right." When I can provide a solution to someone with a financial issue... That's a great feeling! My belief that this was right was very strong. So strong, in fact, that I closed my real estate company and never looked back! To make this short and sweet, I finally found a way to make fantastic money and have a life! I love what I do and am passionate about helping people. I will get back to anyone who asks for help within 24-48 hours. (I do take long weekends since one of my dreams is now a reality and I live on the beach!) Now, I need to ask you for help.
